I loved reading this, Kristin! You two are really having such wonderful adventures. I wonder if you might include links to the places you stay and eat? La Plantation sounds so dreamy, I’d love to click over to it. Michael taught me how much readers like that for my Substack. The first time I did it I messed up and sent everyone down a confusing rabbit hole, but then got the hang of it. Can’t wait to read about Perth! 🩷
Always so happy to read your words:). I will work on making those links better! Thank you for mentioning that. I did have links in there, but now as I look at it, it is not very obvious. Only a line under the word seems to signify a link is in there. Thank you so much!!!! 😊
I don't think I can input a link in this comment section. But here are the 'manual' cut and paste links.
You are such a sweetheart to take the time to send these! I went to Cambodia about 15 years ago and fell so in love with the country that I’ve dreamed of going back. La Plantation looks so dreamy!
On his Substack, Michael puts links in red. I just learned how to do that!
Carpe diem travelers! Another, less physical way appears to be my own nowadays. The armchair version, that of the mind, body in one place. I’m thinking of Henry Thoreau who rarely left Concord yet viewed it as a microcosm of the world and voyaged vicariously far and wide. Those whose bumper stickers boast “I Never Leave Aquidneck Island” miss your, my, and Henry’s point entirely! As Mr. Natural would sayr: “Keep on Truckin’” Matt and Christen! And keep on writin’, too!
Hey Charlie!!! The armchair can unlock so many other places that the body can't is true indeed! Bring the travel to you. Although I don't think any armchair can keep Charlie Whitin in one place very long. A trucking we shall continue to go💜
